2025/2026 Visiting Practitioner Series

Ecotone: Where the Arts Meet

Ecotone is a thematic, interdisciplinary series that serves as a meeting place for creative practitioners who work in multiple mediums to advance more rooted and sustainable relationships between humans and our environments. These artists and scholars often lead their fields across disciplines, use the resources and materials at hand, and call upon generational knowledge to enact contemporary approaches to social transformation through their work.

Participants in this series are not expected to tailor their talks or performances to the series. Rather, like the ecological zones that inspire the theme, attendees are encouraged to seek connections across the range of presentations below in order to experience richer and more complex meaning in the spaces where they meet.
