Anastasia Hoshaw, a first year MSM organ student, will present a recital.
Featuring works from 17th-19th century Germany, 15th century Italy, and 20th century Czechoslovakia, this academic recital explores a variety of musical styles appropriate to the two organs in Reyes Hall. Two selections are based on chant and chorale melodies originating in the sequence for Easter Sunday followed by a concluding "Amen" from composer August Gottfried Ritter. Other composers include J. S. Bach, Franz Tunder, JirĂ Ropek, and Paolo Quagliati.
This performance will be live-streamed.
