Dance Africa is a dance group at Notre Dame that focuses on improving African cultural representation on campus through dance. The Dance Africa group comes together to practice and perform authentically African modern dances to showcase the beauty and uniqueness of art on the African continent.

Every year in the second week of February, the Notre Dame campus is filled with events that showcase and celebrate all of the languages and cultures in our community for Language & Culture Week (LCW).

Throughout the week, there are cultural demonstrations, multilingual Mass, language tables, food, music, poetry readings, dancing, games, movies, and more.

Organized by The Center for the Study of Languages and Cultures, all of the Foreign Languages and Literatures Departments, and many other units at Notre Dame.
