-

Location: Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park

Metal sculpture of a human torso and head formed from individual letters of the alphabet, in front of a backdrop of fall foliage.

Join the Friends of the Raclin Murphy Museum of Art for a fall day immersed in natural beauty, art, and reflection. Our destination is the stunning Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park.

The centerpiece of our visit is the newly opened exhibition Jaume Plensa: A New Humanism. This nationally significant retrospective explores the renowned Spanish artist’s evocative works across scale and media, examining identity, connection, and humanity themes. Plensa is a familiar name to the Raclin Murphy Museum community, and this exhibition provides a special opportunity to view the first retrospective in the United States of this internationally acclaimed artist.
