Second year DMA organ student Nicolaas (Nico) Tjoelker will present a recital entitled "Nocturnal Visions: A Musical Encounter with the Divine, the Mysterious and the Uncanny."
Encounter the supernatural through the colors and textures of the organ, from the brilliance of Dupré’s B Major Prelude and Fugue to the phantasmagorical mysteries of Vierne’s Feux Follets and Clair de Lune. Baroque elegance grounds us (only for a moment!) in Böhm’s Freu Dich Sehr and Vivaldi’s dramatic La Notte, while Escaich’s Évocation II unleashes a whirlwind of modern intensity. This program weaves together light and shadow, serenity and fire—an unforgettable musical adventure!
